Like many holidays faced by Americans, there is the fantasy of what advertisers say Valentines Day should be , and what it is. For those of the school of moderation, there is an idea to be affectionate, expressive and loving everyday of the week. This way when Valentines Day comes, it is not like trying to run a 5k without any practice or warm-up.

While in a relationship, it is difficult to be objective. As a single person who has been in love, and has lived without, perhaps Lilly can ♥ the would-be lover, and give them a few borrowed words , a poem or two. Maybe help with an apology, translate from Venetian to Martian. There are some silly handmade valentines, that are appropriate for every day of the year.

Be ready for 2012

There is a common myth that men are not as romantic or do not feel as deeply as women when it comes to romance and love. I disagree. What men and women do is speak different languages, when it comes to love and emotions.

• Men usually know within minutes if they want to make her a life partner
• Men fall deep and hard in love. Once bitten, twice shy.
• A man will kill himself on his job, or in the financial world to please his life companion.
• A man will give everything for a woman he loves, and for her admiration

A male will go to the ends of the earth to search for what or whom he loves. He may fall in love as a young man, and carry a torch for his true love for decades. If she dies or is forever unattainable, he is like a beast who mates for life. He may partner again, but it will never be that Twin Flame kind of love.

Women love deeply as well. There are women who have traveled into jungles to find and rescue their missing partners . Girls have hiked snowy mountain ranges, faced wild animals and turned over vehicles to save or rescue those they love. She can adapt easier to being in deep-soul love with several partners in a lifetime.

Usually a woman is not going to invest a lot of time into a man that she does not consider a possible partner . If He is the aggressor, and she says, "lets just be friends" she is telling the male that she wants him to back off, she is really not into him , but she will possibly string him along, if she is receiving benefits. (For her, benefits are jewelry, clothes, trips, money)

If she is the aggressor, of a male who is not really into her , and she says, "l ets just be friends" , she is telling him she wants to get to know him better. She is investing time, in a possibility. If she is willing to add benefits of money, gifts or trinkets, she has upped the ante, investing even more.

Men; this is a good time to take a step back, ask your best friends to be honest, and move on down the road, because this is where Lifetime Homicide flicks come into play.

When a man tells a woman he just wants to be friends: It means exactly that. Just because men cannot express fully, that any friend with benefits is the Golden Ring. They will usually treat those benefits as precious, causing a woman to mistakenly think that he may become serious, or cares about her personally. 

The male partner , may hold his beneficial partner(s) in direct fondness, even occasionally buying her trinkets, gifts or helping with her bills. A rare woman enjoys this type of relationship with men. Men are capable of having this relationship with several woman, while actually being In Love with one woman; often his wife.

• He cares about keeping his benefit-receiver happy , and he often can figure out just enough to continue the flow of benefits. There is no blame nor shame in this. It is human instinct to go to others for comfort, food and shelter. Sex too.
• Women are healthier and happier with a fairly regular sex , but whether it is programming or the primal urge to bare young, it is rare that a woman does not become more attached to her sexual partner. A woman can own little or extreme feelings of love and adoration for a man who is simply a beneficial partner.

Men who are highly motivated to excel within education, hobbies, careers, science or exploration, theyare better able to focus their sexual energies toward their careers or non-sexual passion.

When these men are ready to partner, they usually are making good choices, because it is based on well thought out, weighed and measured criteria. These guys have taken enough time to learn about the world, cultures, and people. They are the best catches, as they know what they want, and are not going to choose a mate based on societal advertising, and messaging received during adolescence.

Scientific or not, Men base many of their standards on beauty, and body shape, what having this partner will gain him in standing with other males.

A woman is more attracted to financial security than any other aspect. Security turns women on. Complicated but simple.

You have a nice relationship, you are finally dating a nice person - take the pressure off this year. Make Valentines a fun time to remember, where it is not the pressure of Diamond sellers, and Wedding Planners advertising that makes this beautiful Free Zone for sharing romantic feelings of Love.

As with everything, it is the way we think of a thing that makes it or breaks it. My wish today is that every lone person who desires companionship will finally Re-Connect. I am hoping for my world, that Love finds you, and Love finds me. We all need more love, we can all give more. I hope for you love discovered in the midst of happy music and laughter.
