As a child, Lilly was moved by Civil Rights leaders in a way that has remained with her to this day. Her early activism, contributed to the passing of the Clean Air Act. In Los Angeles in 1975, in sympathy with the Lakota Nation, Lilly and friends joined protests at the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This was in response to the US Government’s siege of Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. 

Work Experience  She has 40 years.Oh the jobs she’s  had. A job that has affected Lilly’s political beliefs happened working for ACORN of Little Rock. Although Lilly was taking medication and in the throes of a breakdown, she got a job working for ACORN, not as a hooker, but a community organizer. During the 2000 elections, Lilly worked phone banks, visited neighborhoods, and held registration drives. Her last day working for ACORN was On Nov 07, 1999. At 3:30 p.m. in the city of Little Rock, all of the voting machines were down. Most polling sites closed early due to the inability to process, or report votes. Not a single Arkansas vote was counted or mattered in this phenomenal election. It seems to Lilly the Constitution took a big dive too. We all know it was rigged and stolen.

Lilly went ahead, threw caution to the wind, finally broke-down all the way. She emptied her studio apartment, gave away the big stuff, and headed to the only place she felt safe and secure. Lilly went to the Mountains. Her diet for 17 days, awaiting emergency food stamp relief, was an 18 pack of beer, beef jerky and peanut butter crackers. Lilly was able to catch  some fish in primitive fashion, and smoked them over her fire.

The time spent in the wilderness was awesome, hard and cold. It was a 100 year storm that tested Lilly to her very limits.  She had heat from dry-wood left cut by angels in skin throughout the late summer and fall. She recalls turning northward as if called. She smells snow in the wind. The wind is not strong yet, but it will be. She trenched the tent on the downward side, covered in Visqueen, Lilly created berms to direct water to a pan, then down toward the creek, away from the tent. Duct tape, twine, and girl scout badges, along with giant creatures winged, taller than the trees kept her through this winter blast.  After a month of this, Lilly gave up, and headed back to the city of Little Rock for help.

Lilly wasn't dangerous enough to get committed, but was unstable enough to stay in a half-way house. Because of experience in doing taxes Lilly went to work the next day for a major tax firm. Lilly worked for them seasonally for 6 years.

Following the 2002 tax year, Lilly went to work as an Environmental Construction Quality Assurance Inspector. Her specialty is Model Landfill Construction.

In 2007 she went to work for a governmental agency that regulates pollution. Lilly has been given top training from EPA, California Air Resources Board and Smoke School.

In 2009 Lilly returned to College, a major in Geology, to finally earn a BS.

God is not contained nor constrained.  Lilly has studied world religions. She knows faith works. She has observed and participated in actual miracles. 

She holds to Native Traditional Beliefs, Karma, Golden Rule, Social Justice and am learning Reiki. 

Lilly intends to leave this World having contributed to making it a healthier and happier place. Peace.
